elaterid - Conoderus scissus

elaterid - Conoderus scissus
Jesup, Wayne County, Georgia, USA
July 16, 2010
Size: 8.5 mm
Collected in a light trap. Putting this at the family level until I can key out later. The tarsal claws are simple, so it is not a Melanotus sp. If anyone has any thoughts, chime in! Thanks!

Conoderus scissus??
This is keying to Conoderus, except the pronotal angles do not seem long/sharp enough!!! Then I found images of C. scissus on BugGuide that look similar! Can I get a second??

thanks!
