3 genera worldwide; represented in NA by 2
Hybrizon spp.

Lacks the second crossvein (2m-cu) found in most all other Ichneumonidae.
Remarks
This group had been placed in the family Braconidae, and then was recognized as a family, and, more recently, was moved to the Ichneumonidae. Specimens are rare in collections, and nothing is known about the biology except that circumstantial evidence suggests an association with ants.
