Calyptomerus oblongulus - male

Calyptomerus oblongulus - Male
Sandia Mnts, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, USA
July 22, 2010
Size: 1.8 mm
A bunch of these were in the dead foliage of a Spruce (Picea engelmannii). Usually I find them in leaf litter. Can be told from Clambus easily because the antenna is attached quite far away from the eye.
