Leucania pseudargyriaExplanation of Names
pseudargyria is probably derived from Greek pseudes (πσευδης)- "false" + argyria as in Leucania lythargyria, a European moth (the name is now considered a synonym of Leucania ferrago): the original description says this species resembles it quite a bit.
Size
The largest species of this species group with a wing expanse of 40 to 45 mm. from wing tip to wing tip.
