Stenacron carolina
This is a (Stenacron carolina). It is the only one in the genus with the compound eyes so wide spread. And it has lots of cross veins in the lower area of the forewing. This one came from a dark substrate in a stream that is why it is darker than most commonly seen.

This mayfly is a male imago of family Heptageniidae and genus Stenacron, probably S. interpunctatum.
