Found this in our kitchen by the salt and pepper shakers next to the stove.

Thanks for the quick ID! We indeed did have a sweet potato only a few inches from where we found it. Sweet potato was from the grocery store. Into the trash it goes!

Just read your bio. We recently purchased a Sony Alpha A300 from Calumet photo ($500 for the two lens kit). We love it! Although I have to admit that this photo was taken with our Panasonic P&S since it was nearby.
