What led you to this species ID?
Several Uroleucon will colonize Helianthus spp., and U. helianthicola is described as reddish brown with black appendages, including siphunculi and cauda. This is a pretty bright red and the cauda is not black, I'd call that dusky tipped.

Don't remember
but I probably thought it looked like the others in the guide that also used Helianthus. I'll use your judgement where this should go, to genus or somewhere else.
