I swept this weevil from some dead grasses and flowers. I did not collect this beetle and unfortunately did not end up getting a super-crisp shot. Feel free to frass as necessary.

I agree that Vassili is right. It is a Eustinopus villosus. This weevil has been introduced as a biological control agent . The photo is of a specimen that has los tits usual pollinose coating makingit appear different from the usual yellow and white weevil.

hmm... looks like a small lixine [unfamiliar], perhaps intro'd
funny; could this be a dull version of Eustenopus villosus or something along these lines?
