His face was unforgettably beautiful. I couldn't get rid of the backlight without him flying away, which is what happened. I did the best I could while editing to get any colors visible. He was metallic green. His face glowed green and copper in the sun.

Ebony Jewelwing
The female Ebony Jewelwing (Calopteryx maculata) has a white spot on her wing, the male's wing is all black.
