Ambush bug
Hi Betsy , this is Beth another bug enthusiast . Nature is really inspiring , and wonderful . I have been interested in the insect life for quite a while now and just came upon this interesting bug around the same time that you did and had to post a comment . Good find ! , as I know how difficult this one is to spot and when you try to take a photo of it ...it gets shy and wants to hide and then it resorts to flying away ! I have been a Bugguide enthusiast since 2007 . If you are a new member I would like to say welcome aboard ! I too , stop to smell the roses unlike many other people around and would like to give you kudos for that ! , sincerely Beth
