Glossy Black Idia - Idia lubricalis

Glossy Black Idia - Idia lubricalis
Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts, USA
July 30, 2010
Came to light.

Moved
Moved from Moths.

I believe this is...
... something from the genus Idia, possibly this one although I'd wait for one of the moth experts to provide a more knowledgeable opinion.

No Need to Wait................
....we do not have an expert in this group visiting BugGuide anyway. You found a fine match for the moth. I'd be satisfied to call it that.
