Phalacridae in Saskatchewan? - Olibrus

Phalacridae in Saskatchewan? - Olibrus
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada
July 29, 2010
Size: 1.5mm
Found him sweeping grasses and flowers in a wild grassland area on a hot and sunny afternoon. The specimen is missing hind legs. Even though there are no recorded Phalacrids in Saskatchewan, it seems to be in the Phalacridae family. Can anyone suggest a better fit?

The slightly aeneous luster can be seen in the dorsal shot, and the terminal antennomere reveals its distinctive shape in the frontal shot.

cool; so there are more than one sp. in SK after all, eh?

Stilbus probably occurs there too...just didn't have any specimens.

phalacrid alright, but pix need processing --
way too dark as is; i'm sure a lot of detail can be revealed by brightening &c.
