Anthocharis julia browningi Skinner, 1906. Type locality: Brighton and City Creek Canyon, Salt Lake County, Utah
Identification
Paler than other subspecies, with the marbling on the underside particularly averaging more "washed-out".
Range
Wasatch Range, and associated high country in central and northern Utah, likely into adjacent southern Idaho. Replaced by very similar ssp sulfuris to the north, and by more contrastingly patterned ssp. julia eastward. To the south and southeast are populations that look more like ssp. thoosa [incl. colorado, coriande, inghami, prestonorum, & pseudothoosa.
