Ed Knudson has also identified your moth. However, he did say that they are not rare in the Big Bend area.

Take a look here. I think you have something rare here. I will try to see if I can get an opinion from an expert. I had been looking for one of my "hard to identifies" and come across the photograph and remembered it when I saw yours among the "old unidentifieds".
