Very good, Dyscinetus morator (Fabricius) - new for the guide. Similar (same tribe) to Cyclocephala.

Thanks for the ID! These beetles are pretty common under lights at my house. I have never photographed them before as I figured that Bugguide would be swarming with them.

Appears ..
Appears to be more common in Florida. We get it up here in SC, but mostly along the coast and never in the numbers you can sometimes see in your neck of the woods. Maybe add a dorsal view?
