Cleoptera Beetles - Hippodamia

Cleoptera Beetles - Hippodamia
California, USA
This beetle was captured in a sweep net at a large grassy meadow in the D’Angelo Reserve located near the Bay Area. I’m looking to identify this beetle as close as the Genus name but if anyone can help narrow it down that would be wonderful. The markings on the bottom are mm. Thank you!

Hippodamia parenthesis
Based on markings (including on the pronotum) this would be my call.

two others
while this might be H. parenthesis, from Gordon(1) there appears to be two other possibilites for this location. H. apicalis is widespread throughout the west and can not be ruled out here without an image showing the very apex of elytra suture to be immaculate (at least the middle beetle appears to be so unmarked). Also, H. lunatomaculata lunatomaculata with very similar markings is stated to be found localized in the Bay area. Suggest we leave images on genus page.

Lady beetles.
These are lady beetles, family Coccinellidae, genus Hippodamia. Looks like they are probably H. apicalis. Do you have a project going on here?
