Moved
Moved from Sciapodinae.

New key
Do you have a picture of the tip of the hind femur? Another key askes whether it has "distinct anterior preapical setae".

Moved
Moved from Flies.

Coule be female to this male:

Must be Sciapodinae
Wing veins and excavated vertex match Sciapodinae. I suspect this is Sciapus because I only see one pair of bristles on the scutellum, but there might be a second pair I don't see.

Scutellum Detail
John,
I added a detail showing scutellum. Looks like there is one pair of bristles, with one stray in the middle. Hope this helps ID
