Just don't know where to look for this one. Was tonight at 10pm on the driveway.

don't think
S. didactylus is recorded from the upper 48, and this really looks like S. vicinus to me. I'm not an expert on Mole Crickets, but S. vicinus is common in Florida and Georgia, and S. didactylus seems to be unknown from the country (except Puerto Rico), so seems the common one that looks exactly like this would be the more likely candidate - yes? :^)

Scapteriscus didactylus ♀
This is Scapteriscus didactylus (Latreille, 1804) ♀, and a new species for BugGuide.

One of the editors needs to create a guide page.

Is this a recent introduction?
We didn't notice any information indicating that this species was now in Florida, but we could very well have missed it.

Thank you....
for ID'ing this for me. Thank you John and Jane for making the page.

Another beautiful image
This time of a mole cricket. In the guide here

You are great!
Thank you. So this is what the armadillos keep digging up my yard for! Thank you for the nice compliment.
