Looks like some of the photos of female Pseudomethoca simillima.
Found in microhabitat of loose white sand on limestone ridge.

This one is Dasymutilla asopus. Like Pseudomethoca, its pretty compact and chunky for a mutillid.

Wow, a big BG range extension.
I'd shoot more of these, but they all look alike and they run like crazy. I saw one the other day here on Long Island, but I'm always afraid my lens will have a nervous breakdown trying to focus on them.
