Aegialia malkini - Geopsammodius relictillus

Aegialia malkini - Geopsammodius relictillus
Lake Wales, Polk County, Florida, USA
July 30, 2010
Size: 2-2.5 mm
This beetle was found in a bait trap with cow manure. I believe the ID is correct based on Woodruff's FL Scarabs page 138. Figure 294 in the book matches the verrucose head and occular pits. A guide page would need to be created if this is correct. Any thoughts Phillip? Very tough to get good images due to the size of this beetle.
