Dyschirius erythrocerus
based on my microscopic examination of this specimen which is now a photo-voucher in the P.W.Messer collection. Elytra show prominent punctures in basal half which are coarser than in closely related species. This species is widespread in the east. New to BugGuide. Thanks Tim.

Dyschiri~ whatever
must go to Peter :)
