Small Spider - Dirksia cinctipes
Sitka County, Alaska, USA
April 23, 2005
This spider was quite small. It is shown here crawling on the stem of a moss. I'm not sure if there is enough detail in the pictures to get much of an identification, but I thought I would try.

Eyes
Do you any other images that show more of the eyes? Did you find it crawling in the moss or on a web? If on a web, do you remember what type of web?

No other photos
These are the only images I have - I didn't notice a web at the time. As far as I could tell it was crawling around on the moss.
