Milkweed Tussock Moth - Hodges#8238 - Euchaetes egle

Milkweed Tussock Moth - Hodges#8238 - Euchaetes egle
Camp Creek Run, Marlton, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
August 2, 2010
The patch of milkweed was covered in Euchaetes egle (Milkweed Tussock Moth - Hodges#8238) caterpillars. This was smaller than the normal fuzzy ones. Is it an early instar of the same species?

Moved
