These never land, so I had to go for flight shots. The antennae look short for bees that I know.

As I said, they don't land, but they do hover a lot, and they chased anything that they saw, even a large June Bug. Makes sense that this was territorial behavior...

We all should try more in-the-air shots, particularly with bees and flies. I've shot a couple flies aloft and wouldn't have obtained an ID otherwise.
