This has lots of pixels, but the image
is not quite in focus. It looks like you got closer than your camera could focus, but we could be wrong. If you have a sharp image that is too big for bugguide, you can just make the image smaller. If you don't have the software to do that, you can just email it to us and we can downsize it for you. Our email is on our contributor page but you have to adjust it to a real email address.

Apparently Callopistria floridensis has numerous color forms
Here is one from MPG that looks close enough to yours to be it. It will become a beautiful moth. If you know someone with a macro lens on their camera, it would be great to get a quality image of this color pattern. Bob Patterson at MPG would likely be interested too.

You can find more images of your caterpillar
here but it's not identified beyond Boston Fern Caterpillar.

Thank you, I was wondering what kind of fern I had out there. I am going to send one more shot that I took in macro. Maybe it will be a little clearer. Hopefully the image file will not be too large, the last time I had to send one with fewer pixels to get it sent out.

Green Caterpillar with Black Markings
I tried to send the macro shot but it was too large. (Too many pixels.)
Thank you for your response. I think I know what I have eating my fern now.
