Moths and larve? - Ephoron album

Moths and larve? - Ephoron album
Clarkston, Cache County, Utah, USA
August 8, 2010
Size: About 1/2"
On this photo you can see long "antenea" on the back of two of the moths but on the front of the other. Strange. I'm not sure if it is the difference between the male and female?

More info.
I might add that the nearest body of water is approximately 3 miles away. Not sure if this makes a difference..
