Red Dragonfly - Sympetrum semicinctum

Red Dragonfly - Sympetrum semicinctum
Antelope Island, Davis County, Utah, USA
August 8, 2010
This is a completely different specimen, much larger and redder than http://bugguide.net/node/view/440166/bgimage but now that I have them on my monitor I wonder if they are the same species. Similar coloration, especially on the wings, and with the same tickmarks on both wings.
