glaucus on Ptelea - Papilio glaucus

glaucus on Ptelea - Papilio glaucus
Bunker Hill Forest Preserve, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA
August 12, 2010
We had posted an image of a tiny Papilio on Ptelea, which is in the citrus family, and had assumed therefore it was P.cresphontes. David pointed out the error in our ID. While we were at Bunker today we saw a couple of Papilio, again on Ptelea and these are definitely P.glaucus.
