Wool Carder Bee (Anthidium manicatum) - Anthidium manicatum

Wool Carder Bee (Anthidium manicatum) - Anthidium manicatum
San Jose, Santa Clara County, California, USA
August 13, 2010
Size: 3/8"
Like some of the comments I have read here about Woll Carders, this bee does not rest for anything. It constantly hovers around a mint bush and another patch of flowers a few feet away. I had a Dickens of a time catching it at rest. Any help with ID is most appreciated.
