Could be...
Thanks for your response, Roar!...it does remind me of a beetle that I submitted a while back that was ID'd as a "Masked Chafer". Though that one was a much lighter yellower color.



I don't know if you saw it, but Z.E.L. suggested May Beetles as a possibility. I guess it is safe to move it to scarab family.
