Green-gray except when faded. A rare cream form exists in southeast Califronia and Nevada.
No discal spots.
No antemedial line on the hindwing.
Usually has a pale line the length of the abdomen on the dorsal surface (no spots or circles).

Chlorochlamys appellaria in the Southwest, and replaces
