Brown-Hooded Owlet - Cucullia convexipennis

May 13, 1998
Adult eclosed from larva that was eating Goldenrod (Solidago) September 1997. It formed a pupa in sand and overwintered in fruit cellar. I have often found the beautiful larvae parasitized.
