Like most whites, this one constantly flitted without stopping for more than a second. Its wing markings seem to resemble those of the margined white.

Looks like Margined White is correct
Difficult to be certain from these photos, but the pattern is more like P. marginalis, and it seems to lack the dark tips of the wing that are always present on female P. rapae and so often missing on P. marginalis.

Never heard of a "margined white." This looks like a female Cabbage White to me.

 
The Margined White (Pieris ma
The Margined White (Pieris marginalis)is common in the NW. Cabbage whites are common here in Texas and have different markings than those on this butterfly. Then again, you may very well be right.
