Black Soldier Fly - Hermetia illucens - female

Black Soldier Fly - Hermetia illucens - Female
East Greenwich, Kent County, Rhode Island, USA
August 21, 2010
Size: 18mm
Hermetia illucens?

It's very docile for a fly, relying on its mimicry I guess. It likes to move it's
antennae left up/right down, then alternate, and let out a loud "bzzzz" every so often.
