Biddeford Spider - Larinioides cornutus

Biddeford Spider - Larinioides cornutus
Biddeford, York County, Maine, USA
August 21, 2010
These live in the crevices in our siding. They come out at night, all over the side of the house where the garage lights hit. They make a huge mess, too, with whatever they are eating.

Looks to be the Orb Weaver
Larinioides cornutus. Perfectly harmless, and be thankful for all that bad stuff they are eating!
