Extra markings and shading - Phidippus regius - male

Extra markings and shading - Phidippus regius - Male
Seminole County, Florida, USA
October 7, 2005
Here he is a penultimate male. He is the size of an average adult male regius. He is going to be very large as an adult. Jeff found the largest male regius that we've ever seen on the same day where I collected this one as a small juvenile. I kept him because of all of his markings. Notice the white clypeus fringe. This is not typical among males.
