Tar Wasp mimic - Tragidion deceptum

Tar Wasp mimic - Tragidion deceptum
Mt. Bigelow, Santa Catalina Mts., Pima County, Arizona, USA
August 22, 2010
Size: 20-25mm
1st of 2. Looks like a Longhorn beetle mimicing a Tarantula Wasp. Ironically, I found a Robber Fly (Wyliea mydas) only 50 yards away that was also mimicing a Tarantula Wasp. I was birding and saw what I thought was a Tar. Wasp and almost didn't stop, but when it alighted on the oak leaf, it didn't look right, so luckily I took a second look. Can someone ID the beetle? Elev: 8540 ft Very strange.

careful...
there are a few Tragidion in AZ, all with a similar color pattern.

Tragidion deceptum ?
I'm not an expert, but I think looks similar to this one :) or close species?

Thanks Yurika:
I think you got it. I looked through 60 pages of Longhorns on Bugguide, and didn't get anything close, so I figured I'd be looking until New Years if I continued - thanks again.
