Size
Wingspan 30-38 mm.
Identification
Forewing:
No shading along the well defined antemedial line.
There are 1-6 small white dots along the terminal line in the costal half.
Small white discal spot varies from round to angular shaped and is often lined with a narrow broken ring.

Hindwing:
Terminal line thickens near anal angle where there are 3-4 dark, near triangular spots.
Sinuous postmedial line is present.
Range
Southern and western Texas to Arizona then north to Colorado and southern Utah.
Season
Adults fly April through September.
Food
Poole reared on willow (Salix) in Arizona. (1)
