Too big:-)
Gymnosoma are quite small, and pretty non-spiny for tachinids. Not sure what genus this one is.

 
Shows what I know...
Although, since those are flowers of some araliacid thing, the flowers might be small enough as to give an inaccurate impression of size... :-)

Size
I did not note the size, but this was a hefty fly, perhaps 1.3cmin length.
The flowers are on a lychee tree.
