Leafhopper - Draeculacephala inscripta

Leafhopper - Draeculacephala inscripta
Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, USA
May 25, 2010
Size: ~10mm
Draeculacephala inscripta? Looks to be female? Seems to match the descriptions that I've read. Common on a small pond ex Nymphaea sp (Pink Waterlilies). Some were separate but most of them were in groups, lined up next to each other.

Draeculacephala inscripta
Yes; this is the first record of Draeculacephala on a host that is not a grass or sedge, so it is a very significant find.

Thanks
for the confirmation and additional information, Dr Hamilton. I was at the pond again this past Thursday (08/26) and was still finding these. I haven't seen, or at least noticed, any immatures yet.
