Coloration should help but... These skipper really confuse me. Any one have an idea on specifics to look for when IDing particular Skippers. Leg color etc.

Probably Leonard's "Pawnee" skipper
This a discreet plain skipper with three likely in your locale; Dun, Swarthy, and Pawnee Leonard. Plain skippers are extremely difficult to identify.
Skippers are identified based upon location, time of flight, and markings / spots/ color patterns. Variations often occur within a species from location to location, time of season, sexual dimorphism, etc.
An excellent basic identification guide is "Kaufman Field Guide to Butterflies of North America".
