Tomato worm with eggs - Cotesia congregata

Tomato worm with eggs - Cotesia congregata
Albuquerque, downtown, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, USA
August 31, 2010
Found this morning on a tomato plant after I'd cut the corn stalks down.

Moved from ID Request.

Pupa, not eggs...
This Hornworm has been parastized by braconid wasps, which have now matured enough to emerge and create cocoons for themselves to fully mature in. Hornworms are common prey for these.
