Eastern Boxelder Bug Cluster - Boisea trivittata

Eastern Boxelder Bug Cluster - Boisea trivittata
Lake Grubb Park, Mountville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA
March 13, 2006
There were a couple of these clusters on the trunk of a huge Sycamore tree.

Neat.
Very nice "in situ" image of these. I'd recommend that maybe on the home page we put this image up during boxedler bug "season," so visitors will be amazed that we are so in tune with what they are seeking to identify:-)

Good idea!
I think that's a good idea. When is the boxelder bug season? I know I have seen and collected quite a few recently. Thank you!
