aphids on petunia - Macrosiphum euphorbiae

aphids on petunia - Macrosiphum euphorbiae
Merrimack, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
August 28, 2010
I didn't realize how bad this infestation was on my mom's petunias. but they are almost ready to die anyway so I left the aphids. They all seem to have these three black spots.

Moved
Moved from Aphids.

ID
On Petunia, this would be Macrosiphum euphorbiae, potato aphid. The black spots will vary because they are the eyes of the unborn young.
