Tripod moth -
Caloptilia
Fredericton, York County, New Brunswick, Canada
September 2, 2010
This tiny moth was sitting/hanging/standing upside down on a railing on my deck. It was attracted to the bug light. Question: where are the other two legs?

Something in/near Caloptilia, perhaps?
The other two legs are probably hidden under the wings, as in the referenced example.

Caloptilia?
Based on the very close resemblance to moth the moth pictured in the thumbnail, I have decided to move this to Caloptilia.

Yes,
I suspected that. Just being a bit cheeky.
