Great photos, Erick. This is a male Maccaffertium imago, but I can’t decide whether it looks more like M. modestum or M. mediopunctatum. Both are highly variable in appearance and the current concept of each species includes a number of synonyms. It’s great to be able to see the male terminalia so clearly, but I still can’t find anything that would seem conclusive in suggesting one over the other.

I appreciate the explanation of the dilemma. This was a new one for me, and surprisingly cooperative, so I'm quite happy with a genus.
