Wolf spider
Probably a Hogna species. The wolf spiders are harmless. A view of the 'belly' would help to ID to species.

My roommate and I were thinking it was a Wolf Spider as well. They are pretty common around here. No other images as it's been released into a wood pile out in the back yard. Thanks for the tip, pretty neat website this is.
