Tetraopes - Tetraopes skillmani
Little Outfit Ranch south of Canelo Pass, Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA
September 4, 2010
On Milkweed. Upright growing, linear leaves, not a vine.
Could be T. skillmani, but this was not the host plant of the type specimen.

ID looks good, a few species
ID looks good, a few species of T's are polyphagous on Asclepias, or various genera in the Asclepiadaceae, so that shouldn't be a worry. If you get a chance, get a photo (or two, or several) of the new host plant so it can be ID'ed.
