Size: approx. 1 1/2 inches
I really need this creature identified a.s.a.p. because I am keeping it in a glass jug (with holes in the top) and I need to find out what it eats.

Sphinx
This is a hermit sphinx larvae Lintneria eremitus, although BugGuide has it listed as Sphinx eremitus. This species feeds on beebalm, mints, bugleweed, and sage.
