Old shelf fungus - Bolitotherus cornutus

Size: up to 15 mm
These large larvae were also in this softer, moister, more recently alive shelf fungus -- perhaps a different type judging by the depth and grain. Some tiny white larvae are visible here, one of which is a beetle and another resembles a wasp larva. See separate posting.
